STUDENTS MUST STUDY THE LESSONS.

Very few middle or high schools anywhere in the world offer classes in the exciting area of computer graphics. But it is important (look at all the animated movies, TV shows, and video games).  And, after all, a picture is worth a 1,000 words, so why shouldn't graphics get equal time with writing essays?

The Computer Stars Competition is open to all students who come to the Mathematics TournamentYou do not need to be on a Math team to participate in Computer Stars. Participation is restricted to the first 30 teams that register. Each team consists of two students.  The results are based on the total team score on an exam that will be administered from 8:30am to 9:30am prior to the Mathematics Tournament's written test that begins at 10am.  A computer class is not a prerequisite to participate. The Computer Stars test covers concepts and skills from  on-line Lessons located at the link below.
